During the use of products from IDS heart rate and location data is gathered. These measurement results may be transmitted via Bluetooth to smartphones or tablet PCs, and may also be further transmitted to a server and a web platform. The attending cus- todian can access the password-protected server in order to view his or her user ́s data and to provide recommendations for physical exercise.
The data is transferred from the smartphone or tablet PC over the internet in encrypted form. No personal data such as the name of the user, their address or date of birth is stored on the smartphone or tablet PC since users are identified solely through a user ID in the apps. The user ID is linked to the user on the web platform to allow the attending custodian to evaluate the data for each user individually.
The data is stored for an unlimited period.
Employees of IDS, and external consultants who are explicitly authorised and bound to strict data confidentiality, have access to this data if this is required for technical maintenance of a telemonitoring product or for the installation of medical devices. The data is not transferred to third parties.
Revocation of consent and opposition against data processing
If you have given your agreement with us, you can revoke it with immediate effect for the future at any time.
So far as we base the processing of your personal data base on the balancing of interests, you can appeal against the processing. By expressing the objection, we ask for a statement setting out the reasons why we should not process your personal data as implemented by us. In case of a reasonable opposition, we will examine the situation and will either stop the data processing respectively adapt it or we will show you our worth protecting and compelling reasons for continuing the processing.
You can contradict the processing of your personal data for advertising purposes and data analysis any time.
You can send us your revocation or opposition using the contact information under “person responsible”.

Your rights towards us regarding your personal data:

- Right of limitation of processing
- Right of opposition against processing
- Right of data transferability
Furthermore, you have the right to complain about us at any data protection supervisory authority concerning the processing of your personal data.
